Family Pictures

Posted by Nikki

We had a cute girl come and take our family pictures while we were in Pinetop. She ended up getting some good shots of everybody so we are really happy. Nathan: 6 months old

Luke 2 1/2 years old

Jacob 4 1/2 years old

Three cute boys.

This is my entire family. For those of you who don't know, my parents have six children (5 boys and me). We are all married and there are 20 grandchildren. Pretty cool.

Pinetop Vacation

Posted by Nikki

We spent last week with my family at a cabin in Pinetop. We had a good time relaxing, playing games and just hanging out. Each day we had a couple of activities for the kids and then just let them play together. According to Jacob, there is nothing better than cousins. Here are some of the things we did, the first few days, then I forgot my camera and didn't take any pictures. Here is Nate and his cousin Brady. These two boys are 4 days apart and live really close to each other. There is no doubt that they will be good friends as they grow older.

Luke finger painting.

Jacob making a bird feeder.

I love this picture of Luke and Emma. They love to play together and they look like they are having a really good time.

We made tie die shirts with all of the cousins. It was cute to see everybody wearing their shirts. It kind of got hard to tell everybody apart because they were all in the same shirts. Here is Jacob making his. I think he wore this shirt 3 of the 6 days we were there.

Who says 4 is too young to shave??? Todd made Jacob his own little razor by pulling out the blades from his Mach 3. Jacob has loved being able to shave. I think that he probably shaved 4 times hte day Todd made the razor and then he carried it in his pocket when he wasn't shaving.

I think Luke realized he didn't have any pictures in the Bumbo, so the other day he asked me to take a picture of him in the Bumbo. I finally got him looking at the camera.

Here is our little Nate relaxing in the swing. I do not know what it is about my boys, but they are not happy until they reach all the major milestones. Luke is sitting up now but he doesn't relax; he just constantly tries to sit up whether he is laying on the floor or sitting in his swing.

We tried giving Nate baby food. He seemed to like it all right, but was a little fussy after trying everything I gave him, so we are going to wait a little longer before we give him real food again.

Intel had a day when we could go to the Arizona Science Musuem for free so we had Grandma Danielson watch Nate and Jacob and Luke went to the museum with us. We decided that they are still a little too young for the science museum, but we still had a good time. Here are the boys at the Lego area. I didn't get very many pictures.

Fireworks

Posted by Nikki

The boys had a great time playing with fireworks. We had our own little show in the front yard at Doug and Debbie's house. I had put Nate down about 30 minutes before we started and he woke up for the action. I thought he would be scared by all the loud noises but he wasn't. He just looked at all the lights. He was really cute. I always find it a little funny that it can be 9:30 at night and still this light. Jacob really enjoyed trying to use his sparkler to light water balloon remnants on fire.

Luke enjoyed sparklers too. He was a little more nerve racking because he doesn't always pay attention to what he is doing, but he didn't hurt anybody or start any fires so I think it was a success.

I realized halfway through the day that I didn't get any pictures of Nate on the 4th of July. Here is just one of our cute little boy.
