Backyard

In preparing for our Utah trip this summer, we were to tell a favorite story of Grandpa and Grandma Danielson. Todd's favorite story of his grandpa was when Grandpa helped Todd with how to cut the capstones for our wall. We were to do a scrapbook page of the story so our family picked a cooler evening in June to go out and take some pictures of our backyard. Todd did such a good job designing and laboring over the backyard that I thought I would show it off a little. We are working on getting the plants in the wall to look a little stronger. Maybe during the spring, we will have some luck. Todd designed the wall and then he and I laid all the bricks for the patio and wall last summer. I realized I was pregnant with Nathan about half way through the wall so I wasn't much help with that, but most of our summer last year was spent laying bricks.
Our cute little Nathan!!

Todd also laid this artificial grass and the rocks behind it. He did such a great job and it took a lot of work. We love our fake grass. It is beautiful all of the time and does not require any work.

Getting a great picture on the timer is pretty difficult. But this one isn't too bad. Only Nathan is looking the wrong way which is pretty good considering we had to set the timer and there was nobody to look at.

Awesome! Your backyard is almost as beautiful as your family! I love them both! Good job! Nathan looks adorable in that picture of Todd holding him up!
