Christmas morning was a great day. Jacob was the first one up (around 6:30), but he was very patient and waited for his other brothers to get up around 7:30. While the younger ones slept, Todd, my mom and I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast which would be at Kari's house. Jacob just waited. Todd's parents were coming to watch the boys open presents so Jacob waited for them. When he saw their truck pull in, he opened the door and ran outside. He was just so excited. I feel like I have a miniature Todd on my hands. I am sure the next few Christmas's will be filled with little boys waking up super early as they get old enough to catch the excitement. Jacob is just starting.
Here is Luke making the trek down the stairs Christmas moring.
Jacob opening one of his first presents. I think this gift was really for Todd. He had a blast putting it together later that morning. It only took 114 steps and 4 hours.
Here is Luke opening his Snuggie. The boys have been begging, well mostly Jacob, for Snuggies. Christmas morning finally produced one.
Nathan was so cute opening his presents. It was like he knew exactly what to do. He would ohh and ahh as he pulled off the wrapping paper and he usually said ta-da. That boy has been talking up a storm lately.
Our family had a great Christmas. We were very spoiled and blessed this year. Todd made out well in the tool department, so he can build me everything I want. His list is long. He bought me this chair that I have been begging for for quite some time. He did it secretly all on his own and then had his parents bring it Christmas morning. He is just so sweet. We also got kitchen stuff which was badly needed from his parents. I love cooking in my new pots and pans.
The boys got DS's and Nathan got a scooter. Plus tons of other toys and clothes. It was a great time had with family and friends. Christmas is my favorite time of year. It is hectic, but it is just so easy to be happy and enjoy family.
