Luke plays in the 3-4 year old league. There are only three teams, but it is a lot of fun. It almost happens that whoever gets the ball will score a touchdown, but sometimes there are flag pulls too. Luke's coach is one of his teammates mom. How awesome is she. They couldn't get a coach and were going to disband the team, but she volunteered to coach them. She is so sweet and is so good with the little boys. I am amazed at her patience.
I am also amazed at Luke's skills. The first week, he was pushing his hand back and guarding the football as he scored touchdowns. I think he is the only one on his team that has pulled a flag during a game. He will be a good little flag football player in the next few seasons.
Luke carrying the ball.
Do you think that Nathan knows how a credit card machine works. Just passing time during games.
I am such a horrible picture taker. Most of the time, I don't have my camera and when I do I forget to take pictures.
Jacob has improved so much these last few weeks. He has become quite the good flag puller which gets him a lot of playing time. When he gets a flag, he stops immediately and holds it in the air until a referee, player or coach comes to get it. I love it! A few weeks ago, we had an afternoon game, and the boy was on fire. He pulled a bunch of flags and he scored his first touchdown. We were so excited for him.
