The week before Christmas is such a busy time. I think it is hard for teachers to get school work done and they have lots of activities to keep the kids busy. One thing I really enjoy about Jacob's school is that they do their little singing program during the day. So last Tuesday Nathan and I (Luke was at preschool) loaded into the gym to watch Jacob sing.
They sang three songs. Up on the Housetop, Have a Holly Jolly Christmas and I can't remember the other one. It was cute though. Their teacher gives them little dance moves for them to do while they perform.
This is his whole 1st grade class. It is huge.
Then on Thursday, we went out to support Jacob in the Jingle bell jog. It was super cold that day and we weren't prepared, but it was fun still. The track was super big for these 1st graders and they ran for a full 20 minutes. I don't think it took all of Jacob's energy though.

jacob is so much taller than those other children. Funny! What a great first grader, singer, and jogger. Loved the post about him. Nikki, you are such a great and supportive mom! I love you, and Jacob, and Luke and Nathan oh and Todd.
