Luke celebrated his 5th birthday just before Thanksgiving. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. My boys are getting so big. Luke is my boy with the best imagination. He loves to dress up and pretend to be super heroes. You can usually fine him in some costume when we drop Jacob off to school. He became very interested in Harry Potter this last year, so what would be better than a Harry Potter Birthday party. I had so much fun planning this party. It was not in the least bit small. He had 12 boys there counting my three. Needless to say I was pretty exhausted after it, but I couldn't rest for too long because Thanksgiving dinner was at our house the next day.
Here are all the guests. Luke has a few friends of Jacob's that he just loves, so he got to invite them too.
It was totally chaotic and tons of work, but looking back on it, it was a lot of fun. The boys had such a great time that Jacob said he wants to have a Harry Potter Birthday when he turns 8 next year. It is quite some time away so we'll see what happens.
Things about Luke
He is usually very easy going. Loves to play with friends. Dresses up in costumes. Loves to have a shield and sword (usually tucked in his shirt). Has a great memory. Loves to talk and ask questions. Is a great football player. Is probably my most sensitive boy. Does not really like to watch tv or play video games (he usually lasts about 30 minutes). Loves to ride his bike everywhere we go even if it is just across the street. Is such a great big brother. Does whatever Jacob does. Major daddy's boy.

Favorite movie: Harry Potter
Favorite food: Swedish Pancakes or Fettuccine Alfredo
Favorite toy: swords
We are so blessed to have Luke in our family. He is such a sweet boy. I just love him so much and could not imagine my life without him. He is like a breath of fresh air. Happy Birthday Luke!!

Oh MY GOODNESS...that is the coolest party ever! I can hardly believe or imagine how much work that was. Those little boys looked so excited. What a great and fun mom you are. You are the party mom extraodinaire. Luke is such a sweetheart. He is as fun as they come and a very good boy. I love you Luke, so glad you had a fun birthday. I can't believe you turned around and did Thanksgiving the next day, that too was Fabulous. You are amazing.
