Polar Express

So the Friday after Thanksgiving, we loaded the boys into Todd's dad's huge truck and headed to Williams for the Polar Express.  Todd had won tickets at work and we were so excited to start our holiday season with this fun adventure.  It was cold.  Not wet for snow, but totally would have been snowing if there was some moisture in the air.  Instead it was just cold.  Kind of hard for us warm Arizona folk but we stood by the heaters and tried to stay warm.

Waiting to board the train.

Thankfully the train was nice and toasty when we got on.  On the way to the North Pole we all got hot chocolate and cookies.  Jacob and Luke loved the hot chocolate and drank mine and Nates as well as their own.  We listened to the book The Polar Express and waited to get to Santa's workshop.

Here are the boys peaking out the window to see the North Pole.  It was very cute.

Nathan is not sure how he feels about Santa being so close, but he was sure happy to get his bell.  In fact, everytime we had to sing jingle bells on this trip, he shook his bell as loud as he could.

I think we do have a set of 3 believers at our house.
