Field Trip to Bashas

A few weeks ago, Luke had his final field trip for school.  We went to Bashas and did a tour.  I really like that store.  I wish we had one really close by our house.  Unfortunately, it is just easier to go to the stores closest to us.  Anyway, the manager doing the tour was so great.  She made it very exciting for the kids and interesting for the adults.  The kids started out at the deli and they each got to eat a piece of cheese.  Then they moved on to the bakery and watched the man make donuts.  Then they got to go see the butcher, the freezer and get on a truck.  I was really impressed with the way they do business at Bashas.

Jacob got to come with us because he had a doctors appointment earlier that day right by where the field trip was.  I just didn't want to drive him back to school and turn around and drive back from where we came from.  He didn't mind.

Luke insisted on bringing his bubble jacket for when they went into the cold room.  He was the only one that wasn't running out because of being cold.  Luke was very proud of himself for being prepared.

Yes that is my son wearing a winter jacket in April in Arizona.

This is Luke's 4 year old preschool class and his teacher Mrs. Vanderpool.  She has done such a great job teaching our boys.
