The next Saturday of games was a long Saturday. The boys would play up to 3 games if they kept winning. The 49ers had a pretty easy 1st game and then we had an hour to rest. It was the end of May so it was pretty warm. The next game, the boys played the Colts and it was a bit tougher of a game. They had scrimiged against the Colts during practice and they were a pretty strong team, but the 49ers pulled off a win after a hard game. The third game was in the late afternoon and our boys were just exhausted. You could tell they just didn't have anything left in them. Plus, they had to play the Falcons and since we had given them their only loss, they had something to prove. Unfortunately, the 49ers were unable to keep up with the Falcons and lost, but they sure did have a fun year and learned so much. We are so thankful to Coach Warren for teaching these boys. They were pretty bummed when they lost, but they worked so hard. We were all so proud of them.
