School is in!!

Oh it is so hard to believe that there is only one little boy at home right now.  Jacob and Luke started school yesterday leaving the day to be spent with just Nathan.  It is a little bittersweet.  I was so ready to be back on a schedule and challenging these boys' minds with less wii and tv, but I do miss them and I realize that the house is very quiet for the seven hours in which they are gone.  It is also nice to get to spend some one on one time with Nathan.  He is my boy that loves his mom.  He is happy to go anywhere and he will still play little games with  me.  I am sure we will have a great time together.

Jacob started second grade this year.  His teacher is Ms. Ojeda and she seems like a really nice lady.  He was pretty excited to start.  He woke up yesterday and just relaxed.  He didn't watch tv or play the wii.  He might have been a little nervous, but I think he was more excited.  He is such a good boy.  He makes friends really easily and said he already knew everybody in his class.  I am sure this will be a great year for him.

Luke was more excited to start kindergarten than anybody I know.  He was asking to go to real school since about January of this year.  He couldn't be more ready.  He rode his scooter ahead of me yesterday and was so happy to go in the class and put his backpack down.  There were no problems there.  I am so happy for him and can't wait to see how he does.  I know he will be great!  He loves to learn and draw and be creative.

Here is Luke's classroom.  He has Ms. Rackle.  The same teacher that Jacob had.  I think he would have been midly dissapointed if he didn't have her for his teacher.

Jacob and Miles waiting in line for the bell to ring.  These two live right by each other, will play football together in the fall and sit at the same table at school.  We'll see how long Ms. Ojeda lets them sit by each other.

My little Nathan left to preschool this morning and was not super happy about that.  We talked up preschool all day yesterday and he was super pumped last night about going, but I think he got a little scared this morning and the fact that he wanted to play Mario didn't help one bit.  He cried a little bit and complained about not wanting to go when we got there, but Ms. Rosie offered to let him pick out his own sticker and he seemed to settle down as I snuck out.  He is such a mommas boy and is quite attached, but I think that he will love going to Rosie two days a week.  She is so much fun and has tons of energy.  You can tell she just loves to teach.

Here is to a wonderful school year!!  My boys are growing up way too fast.
