Changes to the Boys bedrooms

During the school break, I decided to get really ambitious and change the boys rooms.  It's been on my list for quite some time, so I was glad to get it started.  Unfortunately, I had to paint each room twice because I did not like the original colors.

This is Nathan's room.  It has looked this way since he was born.

Here is the first trial of paint.  The color was just a little too tan for my liking, so over Spring Break I repainted it again.
Here is the new color.  You can totally tell this one is grey.

Jacob and Luke used to have a darker blue room.  When we got the bunkbeds, I thought it was just too dark, so I painted it a miss-tint color that I thought would be more grey.  It wasn't as you could see.  So it needed to be repainted.

I was really wanting to try my hand at stripes, so I decided to do it in Jacob and Luke's room. It was so much work, but I do love the results.

I still would like to make crates for storage under their beds and I need to put some things on the wall, and I want new bedding, but that will all come in time.
Of course now we are talking about knocking a wall down to create one huge boys room, so I am sure that I will be kicking myself for doing all that work.
