Luke Little League

Luke has been wanting to play baseball for about a year now so we finally signed him up for the Queen Creek little league.  Everytime we have signed him up through the city, he gets placed on the best teams.  His coaches are awesome and so organized and they really care about teaching the kids.  It has been fun to watch Luke learn the baseball fundamentals.  Luke really seems to be enjoying every aspect of the game.  A super nice guy on Luke's team has a nice camera and so he takes pictures of all the team and then posts them on the internet so we can download them.  Makes me really want to get a nice camera.

Luke's team name is the Sea Dogs.  So far they have played three games and have 9 more left.

Luke is quite a good hitter.  He usually almost always makes contact with the ball.  His only problem is that he has a tendency to hit the ball right to first base.

This is Luke on third base with the assistant coach.  I just love that little smile he has on his face.

On his way to home plate.

They did not catch it.  I don't even think that the ball was thrown home, and he scored!!

Here is Luke trying to catch the ball at first base.  The boys get to play all the positions and they get to bat every inning.  We only play three innings so it only takes about an hour.  We had to get him a new glove this week so hopefully he will be able to catch the ball really good when he has his game tomorrow.
