Two Months

This little girl is 2 months old.  Oh we have enjoyed her so much.  I have to say the first 8 weeks were a little rough for me.  I wondered how I was going to survive.  She wasn't sleeping during the day and I wasn't getting anything done, but things have slowed down around here a little and she has found that she likes to sleep in her swing during the day so things are looking up.  I love just laying her down and interacting with her.  She is full of smiles and she makes me laugh on a daily basis.  Usually the whole time she is awake.  I can't believe how much we are enjoying her.  She definetly belongs in this family and we were missing something special without her.

Things Kate loves at 2 months:
Her swing (she takes all of her daytime naps in it)
Her family (if the boys are around, she is watching and smiling at them).  Cute thing: I came downstairs last Sunday after asking Jacob to watch her while I finished getting ready for chuch and he had her in his arms and was bouncing her to keep her from crying.  He was so cute with her.  It is nice that she is getting bigger and they can help out with her.
Bathtime: This girl used to hate the bathtub, but she loves it now.  If she is crying she immediately stops when I turn the water on.  And she kicks and smiles the whole time she is in the bathtub.  I told Todd that if he can't get her happy when I am not around to put her in the bathtub.
Being carried: She is usually very happy as long as somebody is carrying her.
She loves to smile and talk to everyone and is super strong.
At the doctor she was 12lbs. 10oz.  (85%), 24 inches long (94%) and her head was in the 25%.  She handled her shots well.  She was a little fussy but nothing that wasn't manageable.

We love our Kate so much and are so happy she is in our family.
