BMX Bike Track

I realized I didn't take any pictures of Kate's first Thanksgiving but we went to the Danielson's and enjoyed lots of food.  The boys and kids all went to the park for a game of kickball while the girls stayed home and held sleeping babies and chatted.  It was low key and lots of fun.
On Friday, a friend in our neighborhood rented out the BMX bike track and invited us to come along and try it out.  It was a little scary to watch our kids (especially Nate who had at the time only been riding a bike for a week) take on the big hills but they had a great time.  Poor Luke on the first ride around went down a hill at the end of the track and rode right into a huge pond of water.  It stopped him for a little while and then he got back up and tried again.  Lucky for us, it was a warm day and the boys were having a sleepover at their grandparents so we had extra clothes for him to change into.
The track was definetly the hardest on Luke.  He had a bad wreck about an hour in and we were worried he might have broken his wrist with the way he was crying so we left.  After a bath and a few minutes to relax, we realized he was just fine and wouldn't have to go to urgent care.  Thank goodness.  All in all everyone had a good time and Kate slept the entire time we were there.

Nate at the end of the track.  He did so good.
