Catching Up: D-Backs Game

Todd won tickets at work to the D-backs game.  We had lots of fun, but the game was super long.  It seems like we got there around 5 to pick up the tickets and the game didn't end until after 10:30.  It was a long night.  The boys each got to go to the $1 store and pick out some treats for the night.  We had licorice, cotton candy, mike and ike and a few other things.  These boys definetly take after their mother.

D-backs stadium has a little play area for the kids and my boys love to go up there and hit the ball at the wiffle ball batting cage.  They have a coach pitch to them and they get to hit five or six balls and then run around the bases.  It is a lot of fun.

The best thing is that even Nathan can do it.

After a lot of waiting, Ryan Reynolds hit a 3 run home run in the 9th inning to win the game.  Go D-backs.

Doesn't he look so tired.  We stayed after the game to watch fireworks too!  Didn't get home until almost midnight, but lucky for us the kids fell asleep in the car.
Highlights for the game: I got on the jumbotron for a few split seconds and we got free thirstbusters from CircleK for 10 strikeouts during the game.  Also helped that the whole night was free!
