We've made some changes in our house recently. I know that sounds like a big surprise. These aren't even the most recent changes, but I haven't gotten the camera out to document the others yet. I spied this herringbone pattern on a blog that I look at and wanted something to brighten the back of our computer desk, so I ordered the stencil and got to work. I love how it turned out. Things tended to get lost with the dark background before, and now they don't. I am going to do this same stencil in Kate's room. I can't wait to try it.
We don't usually let the boys take a hammer to the wall, but they were so excited when we finally gave them the go ahead to knock down the wall and make one giant boys room. Luke was the first one to make a hole.
Dallen must have asked us every Saturday for 2 weeks if we were knocking the wall down that day, so we made sure to have him over when we finally did it.

I guess we are not the safest people either. I don't think the boys were wearing shirts or shoes, but they did end up going and getting their tennis shoes to put on their hands. They figured that would give them more power.

It was definetly not the cleanest way to do the job. In fact, it took longer to clean up then it did to knock the wall down, but the boys sure did have a blast.
