Student of the Month

Todd texted me on Friday and told me that he had spent some time reading the blog and really enjoyed it and I realized that I was yet again behind on all the things that we have done.  So here comes another set of catch up posts.  Luke was so happy to be named student of the month for the month of April.  He came home from school and showed me his metal with the biggest grin on his face.  On a side note, Jacob received student of the month in March and Luke was really dissapointed (to the point of tears) that he had not received the award yet in his class.  I guess Ms. Rackle wanted hime to have to wait a little while before he could feel the happiness and excitement. 
Luke really does love going to school and he never complains about it.  We have seen tremendous growth in his reading and math and he even now loves to spell his answers to the questions we ask him just like Jacob liked to do.
Congratulations Luke.  Hopefully this is the first of many metals to come his way for being an exceptional student.
