Football season began 2 weeks ago and this year Nathan gets to play too. He was so excited. September 7th was his first game and since I wasn't in the hospital, I decided I would drag myself to his game. He did so great. He is an excellent flag puller. He would run down a boy, get in front of him and then pull his flag. His offense needs a little work as he seems to run through the kids instead of around them. The boys were super cute though. Him and Brady would give each other high fives between plays. Nate gets super excited every Tuesday when he has practice and Saturday for his game. His coaches are super patient and we appreciate all the hard work they do to teach these boys about football. Nate plays for the Cardinals on Saturday mornings for the next 6 weeks.
Jacob and Luke are also playing flag, but they are in a different league. Jacob's team is the Packers. He is with a new group this season that is made up from kids in the neighborhood. He is playing one of the quaterbacks and he has made some great passing plays. He has also shown some aggresive flag pulling. It is fun to watch his team play!!
Luke's team is the Bucaneers. It is also new this season and made up from boys around the neighborhood. Luke is very focused this season. He used to have a hard time paying attention to the plays, but he has improved by leaps and bounds this season. He has caught passing touchdowns and his first game of the season, he stopped the other teams defense single handedly. I can't wait to go and watch him play every week!
