This time two weeks ago was quite the difficult time. I went on the 4th to get an ultrasound of Kate. I had a lot of amniotic fluid the week before and they had to do another ultrasound to check my fluid levels. If the levels were still high, they would put me on the induction list. Of course my levels were high, so I was so excited to be induced. They were able to schedule an induction for Friday the 6th at Chandler Regional Hospital. I spent all day Thursday getting ready for the baby. The house was clean and everything was in order. We were very relieved and excited. Todd stayed home from work on Friday and we packed our bags and got all our babysitting and rides organized only to get a phone call around 9:30 saying that the hospital was too busy and I was going to be put on a waiting list. Talk about dissapointment.
Two days later at 11:30 at night, Chandler Hospital called to get me to come in for induction. We were very excited again and got the boys situated at Kari's house and went to the hospital. They started the induction process with gel. I did not progress and 12 hours later instead of having my baby, I was sent back home. We were very sad and dissapointed.
I went back to my doctor on Monday and was put on the induction list again for Wednesday. By this time, I was very sad. I did not want to talk to anybody. I did not want to be around anyone and I was emotionally, physically and spiritually exhausted. The following week would be one of the longest and hardest weeks of my life.

Kate at 39 weeks. Two days later at the hospital, they predicted her weight to be 9lbs. 4oz.
Here are some pictures of Kate's room. I love how the room turned out. I would go and sit in her room and just sit so I could be in such a pretty space. I wish I took better pictures and could get better angles but this will have to do for now. I painted the stripes on the ceiling and painted the crib and side tables. I found the dresser on a facebook group and made the book page wreath and Love sign. It is a very peaceful and relaxing room. I hope she likes it.
