Jacob and Luke both participated in swim team this summer. It began in June and went through half of July. It was nice to have something to do every morning even though it did get a little tiring towards the end. Jacob went Monday-Thursday from 7:55 to 8:40 or something like that and then Luke went after from 8:50-9:30. It was very hot to sit and watch but Nathan and I did it most mornings. The fun part of swim team was the meets and the boys were super excited to participate in those. They swam every stroke and their ribbons ranged from 2nd-6th place. Luke even got a first place ribbon in the breastroke. Both boys qualified to go to the final swim meet. Jacob in freestyle and Luke in breastroke but they had cousins in town that day and wanted to play with them instead. I can't say that I minded. It was hot and I really didn't want to go and sit for hours to watch them swim for 30 seconds. We did however, enjoy the whole swimming season.

I think this picture is of Jacob and he is in the far lane of 7 or 8. He improved his time so much on his freestyle swim. I think he shaved 2 seconds off his time from when he competed at the beginning of the season.
